Stays & journeys in Kashmir

Lose yourself in the view, not the planning.

From where you’ll stay to where you’ll go, shape a Kashmir journey around your dates, your travelling party and what matters to you.

Nature close. Plans clear.

Imagine a moment of quiet.

Then the light on Dal Lake, the chinar shade, the mountains all around.

Leave room to explore Kashmir at your own pace.

Forests & river

Pahalgam

Forest-covered hills and the Lidder landscape make Pahalgam a place to consider staying longer. Choose nearby outings, then build the day around those choices rather than trying to see everything at once.

Before you enquire

Useful answers for planning.

Read all planning FAQs ↗
How many days should I allow?

Start with the places you most want to see and the amount of travel you enjoy. A short break can focus on one base; a longer visit can allow stays in several areas. Trip ideas are starting points, not a requirement to cover every destination.

Can I keep one base for the whole trip?

A one-base plan can be discussed. It reduces accommodation changes but may add return driving. Compare it with a route using more than one overnight base.

Which season should I choose?

Choose your interests first. Gardens, meadow landscapes, autumn colour and winter scenery bring different questions. Specific conditions need checking for your dates.

Will I definitely see snow?

Snow depends on place, elevation, recent weather and access. A winter idea does not guarantee snow on a particular day. Discuss alternatives if conditions change.

Is the Gondola included?

Only if the confirmed plan explicitly includes the relevant tickets and arrangements. A general Gulmarg visit does not confirm a cable-car booking. Check the official operator and your written plan.
